The Galgo, as the Spanish Greyhound is called, comes in a variety of colors.  In temperament, they are very much the same as the gentle racing greyhounds, but, they have never raced.  In Spain, they are used as hunting dogs for rabbits and perhaps, deer.  This page is dedicated those adoption groups (Greyhounds In Need in England and other groups and/or individuals in Europe) who literally find these dogs, socialize them and find homes for these sensitive sight hounds.
